How to Get an Accurate Quote Fast
The more complete your request, the faster and tighter your quote. When you send an enquiry, include as much of the following as you can — it lets our engineers quote accurately the first time and return DFM feedback that can lower your cost.
- <strong>CAD file</strong> — STEP or IGES is ideal; native SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD and DWG/PDF drawings also work.
- <strong>Material and grade</strong> — e.g. aluminium 6061, 316L stainless, PEEK. Unsure? See our material selection guide.
- <strong>Tolerances and critical dimensions</strong> — mark what really matters; our GD&T guide helps you specify without inflating cost.
- <strong>Quantity</strong> — prototype, small batch or production (we have no minimum order quantity).
- <strong>Finish requirement</strong> — anodizing, plating, powder coat, PVD, or as-machined.
- <strong>Application or industry</strong> — especially for regulated aerospace or medical parts that need specific documentation.
What Happens After You Submit
Our engineers review your files for manufacturability, then respond — typically within 24 hours — with a detailed quote, lead time and any DFM suggestions that reduce cost or risk. Prototypes generally ship in 3–5 business days; production timelines depend on volume and complexity.
